Embark on a soulful journey to one of the most sacred shrines in India—Kedarnath Dham, nestled in the Himalayas. This carefully curated 6-day road trip from Delhi takes you through spiritual Haridwar, scenic Guptkashi, and finally to the revered Kedarnath Temple, offering an unforgettable blend of devotion and natural beauty.
Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar (Approx. 220 km | 6–7 hrs)
Arrive in Delhi and drive to Haridwar, the gateway to the Char Dham. Check in to your hotel. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Note: Chardham Yatra Registration is mandatory at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.
Day 2: Haridwar – Guptkashi (Approx. 205 km | 7–8 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a significant stop on the route to Kedarnath. After hotel check-in, enjoy the evening at leisure exploring this quaint Himalayan town. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 3: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (30 km Drive + 20 km Trek)
Early morning, drive to Sonprayag, the trek base. Begin your 20 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, chanting the divine name of Lord Shiva as you ascend. Ponies, palkis, or doli (at additional cost) are available. Upon arrival, check-in at government guest houses or lodges. Overnight stay in Kedarnath (basic sharing accommodation).
Day 4: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi (20 km Trek + 30 km Drive)
Rise early for the special Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Temple, where devotees can enter the sanctum and touch the revered Shiva Lingam. After darshan, trek back to Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 5: Guptkashi – Rishikesh – Haridwar (Approx. 205 km | 7–8 hrs)
After breakfast, drive downhill to Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world. Visit iconic landmarks like Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Later, continue to Haridwar for overnight stay.
Day 6: Haridwar – Delhi (Approx. 225 km | 6–7 hrs)
Post breakfast, begin your return journey to Delhi. Transfer to Airport/Railway Station for your onward travel with divine blessings and cherished memories.
