Embark on a soul-stirring journey to the sacred Amarnath Cave, blended with the unmatched beauty of Kashmir. From gliding on Dal Lake in a traditional Shikara to exploring the Mughal gardens and marveling at the Himalayan landscapes, this trip offers spiritual fulfillment and scenic delights all in one package.
Day 1: Welcome to Srinagar – Houseboat Experience & Dal Lake Shikara Ride
Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our team will greet you and transfer you to the iconic houseboat. After check-in and freshening up, unwind with a peaceful Shikara ride across the picturesque Dal Lake, known for its floating gardens and charming houseboats. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the houseboat.
Important Information for Amarnath Yatra 2025:
Yatra Period: 3rd July 2024 to 8th August 2025
Registration is mandatory. Apply online at https://jksasb.nic.in/onlineservices/register.aspx with a valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC).
Offline registration available at designated banks with valid ID and health certificate.
Age eligibility: 13 to 70 years.
Day 2: Srinagar to Sonmarg – Leisure & Acclimatization
Post breakfast, depart for Sonmarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Upon arrival, enjoy optional pony rides to the Thajiwas Glacier or experience sledge/snowmobile rides (on direct payment). The rest of the day is free to relax, explore the surroundings, and prepare for the Amarnath trek. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Sonmarg.
Day 3: Amarnath Cave Darshan via Baltal – Return to Sonmarg
After breakfast, head towards Baltal, the starting point for your spiritual trek to Amarnath Cave. You can choose to trek or hire pony, palki, or pithoo (own expense) for the journey. Seek blessings at the revered cave shrine and return to Baltal, followed by transfer back to Sonmarg. Dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg.
Day 4: Sonmarg to Srinagar – Mughal Gardens & Temple Visit
Enjoy breakfast and drive back to Srinagar. Today, visit the magnificent Mughal Gardens—Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, showcasing exquisite landscapes with floral displays and water features. Later, ascend to the Shankaracharya Temple perched atop Zabarwan Hills, offering sweeping views of Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 5: Departure from Srinagar
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your flight home, carrying unforgettable memories of Kashmir and your spiritual Amarnath experience.
